Travis Added to Garver's Transportation Team
ROUND ROCK, TX Wendy Travis, AICP, joins Garver as a Vice President on its Transportation Team and is its new Texas Planning and Environmental Team Leader in Garver's growing transportation infrastructure practice.
With more than two decades of dedication to the industry in both the public and private sector, Travis has experience in project and program management, transportation planning, public involvement, and NEPA documentation for highway, rail, and transit projects. Throughout 24 years, she has delivered some of the largest projects to completion, having served as project manager of environmental assessment and schematic design for a $2 billion, 14-mile addition of I-35 near San Antonio, Texas, and project manager for a corridor improvement plan that covered almost 600 miles of I-35 in Texas between the borders of Oklahoma and Mexico.
Travis will be based in Garver's Round Rock, Texas, office, but her experience has spanned the country, having also led transportation projects at the federal, state, and local levels in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, and Virginia. At Garver, Travis will continue to lead multi-disciplinary teams of transportation planners, modelers, GIS specialists, public involvement specialists, document control specialists, design engineers, and procurement engineers to deliver high-quality projects that satisfy all types of transportation needs.
