Cadence McShane Construction Company Promotes Morris to Senior Vice President of Operations and Risk Management

DALLAS, TX Will Hodges, President of Cadence McShane Construction Company, announces the promotion of Craig A. Morris to Senior Vice President of Operations and Risk Management. In this new capacity, Morris will support all activities and staff required for the successful construction of K-12, higher education, institutional, healthcare, office, housing, retail, hospitality, distribution and industrial projects on behalf of the firm. 

With nearly 30 years of dedicated service to Cadence McShane, Morris is also responsible for assisting with the development and acquisition of new project opportunities and training and mentoring project management staff. He will continue to operate from the firm's Dallas, Texas, headquarters and expand his reach to include the support of construction assignments in the firm's Austin, San Antonio and Houston, Texas, offices. 

"Joining Cadence McShane in 1988, Craig has a rich history of success at the firm," said Hodges. "His seasoned knowledge about all aspects of construction, coupled with his experience with our processes and procedures, makes Craig uniquely qualified to serve in this leadership role. I'm confident that Craig's expertise will help us effectively navigate and manage our continued activity and growth." 

Morris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Texas Tech University and a Minor in Construction Technology. He is a past board member of the Dallas Chapter of Associated General Contractors of America.
