TxDOT Names New Brown County Maintenance Supervisor
BROWNWOOD, TX The Texas Department of Transportation's Brownwood District announces the appointment of Kevin Crim as the Maintenance Section Supervisor for Brown County.
In this position, Crim oversees TxDOT's maintenance and emergency management activities on 329 miles of state-maintained roadways in the district's most populous county, including important trade corridors such as US highways 67, 84, 183 and 377. Crim supervises a staff of 17 employees based at TxDOT facilities in northeast Brownwood, Texas.
A Comanche County native, Crim joined TxDOT in 2002 as a transportation technician at the Brown County Maintenance Section. He was named Crew Chief in 2006, and promoted to Assistant Maintenance Section Supervisor in 2014.
Crim lives on a small farm in Comanche County and is an avid hunter and fisherman. Cindi, his wife of 28 years, is a 2nd grade teacher with Comanche ISD. Their daughter is a 1st grade teacher in Stephenville, and their son is a graduate student at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.
TxDOT's Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
