Setterbo Named TSPE Bexar Chapter's 2018 "Young Engineer of the Year"

SAN ANTONIO, TX The Bexar Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) has named Ben Setterbo, PE, Pape-Dawson Engineers' Project Manager, as the "Young Engineer of the Year" for 2018. This prestigious award is presented annually to recognize a young TSPE engineer for his or her technical abilities, professional achievements, as well as civic and humanitarian activities. Setterbo will be recognized at the TSPE Proclamation Breakfast.

Setterbo joined Pape-Dawson as a full-time employee in 2011 and has seven years' experience in civil engineering. During his career at Pape-Dawson, Setterbo has played an integral role in the success of numerous projects, including the Security Service Federal Credit Union Corporate Campus, the Maruchan noodle plant, the Heritage Plaza apartments in Alamo Heights, and multiple projects at The RIM. 

"We are proud of this milestone in Ben's career," Pape-Dawson Engineers' Chief Executive Officer, Sam Dawson, PE, said. "This recognition is a reflection of his hard work and dedication, and all of us at Pape-Dawson wish to congratulate him on this honor."

Setterbo holds a Master of Engineering in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to TSPE, Setterbo is active in the Urban Land Institute organization, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
