TEMPE, AZ Eric Hedlund, Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for Sundt Construction, has been named to the Arizona State University School of Sustainable Engineering and Built Environment Hall of Fame.

Hedlund was selected based on his reputation in the construction industry, his leadership, philanthropic efforts and support of the Del E. Webb School of Construction. He served as chair of the Executive Advisory Board for Del Webb School of Construction for eight years. During that time, Del Webb successfully weathered reduced student enrollment due to the economic downturn, developed an outcomes-based curriculum, increased diversity focus and hosted two accreditation visits.

"I am very honored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by this outstanding program," said Hedlund. "All of the Phoenix-area industry stakeholders have worked hard to ensure the Del E. Webb School of Construction is a best-in-class experience for the students."

Hedlund oversees Sundt's offices in Fort Worth and San Antonio and is responsible for the company's building projects throughout Texas. He serves on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Chapter of the Associated General Contractors and is a member of the Economic Development Committees for Fort Worth and San Antonio.

Hedlund has been with Sundt for 30 years and graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona.
