Viewpoint Digital Roadshow Makes Stop in Denver
DENVER, CO — Viewpoint customers from Colorado recently gathered at the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown for the Denver stop of the Viewpoint 2019 Digital Contractor Roadshow. The Digital Contractor Roadshow is a series of interactive and educational networking events that cover technology trends in the construction industry. The roadshow series is making its way across North America, with stops in more than 30 markets.
In Denver, participants heard from keynote speaker and Principal of FMI, Gregg Schoppman, and from Viewpoint customers Huwa Enterprises, Zimkor and Cutting Edge Steel, Inc. Panelists discussed how their businesses have evolved over the past decade and how technology is helping them transform their companies, as well as the importance of connecting the office to the field. Panelists and participants also discussed their top technology priorities and initiatives over the next two years.
“Although every construction company has its own unique needs and challenges, many of our customers and prospects have the same questions about adopting technology and how to move forward with emerging technologies,” said Wayne Newitts, Senior Manager of Enterprise Marketing for Viewpoint and emcee of the event. “One of the most popular and engaging parts of the roadshow is always the time customers get to interact and engage with each other.”
More than 50 Viewpoint customers from Colorado had opportunities throughout the day to exchange best practices during networking breaks. Many shared ways in which they are leveraging Viewpoint technologies to streamline issues around common challenges, such as onboarding employees and creating better visibility into real-time financial management.
In addition to the keynote, panel presentation and networking opportunities, attendees also got a sneak peek at what is new and what is next from Viewpoint and Trimble. Attendees also waited to test out Trimble Connect for HoloLens mixed reality technology.
“The combination of a competitive market and significant workforce shortage shines a bright light on the need for new digital technologies in our industry,” Newitts said. “The Digital Contractor Roadshows help contractors not only understand what new technologies are emerging, it helps contractors understand the risks, rewards and best practices in implementing these technologies.”
Viewpoint launched the 2019 Digital Roadshow on the heels of its 2018 series that engaged hundreds of construction industry professionals in more than 20 metro areas. This year’s schedule has expanded to more than 30 metro areas across the United States.
Viewpoint provides integrated software solutions that help construction companies integrate operations across the office, team and field to improve project profitability, enhance productivity, manage risk and effectively collaborate across the broad construction ecosystem.
