ACEC Rhode Island Annual Golf Tournament
9/13/19 1:00 am EST
Location: Pawtucket Country Club
900 Armistice Blvd
The summer is moving quickly and before you know it leaves will begin falling and then we will shortly thereafter find ourselves digging out of the snow soon. Before the summer is over please join us once again for our annual golf tournament to support scholarships for our engineers of the future. ACEC-RI is looking to build off the previous 19 RICE/ACEC-RI Scholarship Golf Tournaments that could not have been so successful without the participation of you and your firms. This year’s ACEC-RI Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, September 13, 2018, at the Pawtucket Country Club at 900 Armistice Boulevard in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The format will be a shamble with a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Lunch and dinner will be served. Click for the application form Tournament 2018. We are looking to line up tournament contributors including tee sponsors, golfers, dinner attendees and donated raffle prizes. Please consider registering your individual golfers or foursomes now! Also, please use this event to invite your guests, your friends, and clients! Also, we would like to request that you please buy a tee sponsorship as the money for this will be put to a very good cause- the future employees of our organizations! The last couple years we asked you to bring a raffle prize donation – it was well received – so this year we are again asking you consider donating something to the raffle (i.e., company hats, shirts, gift cards, golf balls, jackets, etc.). This event is being organized for your enjoyment and for the opportunity to network with your colleagues and friends in the industry, for the benefit of students within our profession and most importantly to knock off the AECOM team to claim the second annual ACEC-RI Claret Jug! Through the efforts of the Committee and your participation, we have been able to raise significant money to award several scholarships each year. Let’s keep the tradition going! We encourage you to continue your participation. With your attendance and your support, it will be a great day for everyone.
