    Road Resurfacing Simplified

Traditionally, highway-resurfacing projects have been a challenge, not only for the contractor, but the inconvenienced community through which the road passes. To collect the project data needed to perform the resurface, typically required lane closures and a team of surveyors collecting data points from along the side of the road with diverted traffic whizzing past.  It was a slow, cumbersome, and dangerous process that affected the daily commuter flow and affected the contractor’s project timeline. But things are getting better.

    Capturing the Past

“It’s our understanding that the Olivina winery building is a future candidate for a historic restoration, museum, or community center,” stated Ron Oberlander who is with Topcon Positioning Systems, which is headquartered in Livermore. “That’s why we decided to donate our time, expertise, and resources to create thorough architectural documentation of the structure.”
