Cardone Named to ASHE New York Metro Board of Directors

NEW YORK, NY — Rhonda Cardone, an Associate in Dewberry’s New York City office, has been named to the American Society of Highway Engineers New York Metro (ASHE-NY) chapter’s board of directors.
As Director of Programs, Cardone will focus on programming and procure speakers for the monthly ASHE-NY general meetings. She is also responsible for planning the half-day spring forum, featuring panel discussions and intensive seminars. The presentations and programs focus on technical aspects of projects that impact the transportation and highway industry in the New York metropolitan region.
Cardone has more than 30 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. She manages the NYC office marketing department, supporting the transportation, water resources, site/civil, MEP and building structures groups for city, state and federal projects.
“I’m honored to hold this position within the ASHE New York Metro board of directors,” Cardone said. “I look forward to using my diverse background and large network to bring the best speakers and programs to the members of ASHE-NY.”
Cardone holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and English from Seton Hall University (1981) and attends graduate studies in business at New York University. She is a member of the Society for Military Engineers and serves as a member of the Annual Dinner Dance committee. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professionals, previously served as the chapter’s Director of Leadership and currently serves as a member of the CAC Advisory committee. Other organizations include the Metropolitan Railway Club of New York and Women’s Transportation Seminar.
