FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Fort Worth, Texas-based Speed Fab-Crete’s director of business development, Randy Landers, has been elected to the Design-Build Institute of America’s first-ever College of Fellows, which honors 24 of the nation’s most accomplished Designated Design‐Build Professionals. Honorees were hand-selected based on input from industry peers and leaders, as well as a review of the documented contributions made to the design‐build industry.

“DBIA Fellow status recognizes the achievements of our most accomplished Designated Design‐Build Professionals,” said Keith R. Molenaar, Ph.D., DBIA, chairman of the Design-Build Certification Board. “This important career achievement is based on input from industry peers and leaders, as well as a review of documented contributions to the design‐build industry. This honor is well deserved.”

With more than 40 years of experience in integrated project delivery, Randy Landers is responsible for leading and overseeing the development of business opportunities as Speed Fab-Crete, as well as spearheading and implementing client and sales expansion strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the firm’s existing construction services portfolio.

Landers has served on the Board of DBIA’s Southwest Region since 2009, and was in the first class to receive the DBIA “Designated Professional” certification, upon his successful completion of coursework and formal examination in all aspects of design-build project delivery. The “Designated Professional” certification program was developed by and for construction and design professionals who commission and contribute to successful public, commercial, civil and process projects.

“It is truly an honor to be a member of this remarkable College of Fellows,” said Randy Landers, director of business development at Speed Fab-Crete. “This class not only represents a range of expertise that I look forward to learning from and contributing to, but also plays a vital role in furthering DBIA’s mission and shines a light on the benefits of design-build.”
