RICHMOND, VA — Gilbane Building Company announces that Maggie Reed has been promoted to Business Unit Leader for the Richmond office. In her new role, she will work closely with operations to enhance and expand client relationships, ensure excellence in project delivery, and drive growth in diverse markets in both the public and private sectors.

“Maggie is an experienced builder, offering outstanding knowledge and experience that will be a tremendous asset to our clients,” said Paul Sullivan, Senior Vice President. “Maggie has a proven track record of project delivery for complex projects, joint-ventures, public-private partnerships, design-build, and a variety of other delivery methods. I know that she will add immediate value and strategic vision to complement our team of experts.”

As an industry veteran with 19 years of experience with Gilbane, Reed has most recently served as Operations Manager, leading high-performing teams and the construction of a series of complex projects including defense, health care, life sciences/laboratories, and international operations.

Reed holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pennsylvania State University and is a Registered Architect. She also maintains credentials for LEED ASHE Healthcare Constructor Certification Program and the Design-Build Professional Associate program.
