HKS Honored with Six Awards at The Center for Health Design’s Health Design Expo & Conference

DALLAS, TX — HKS received six awards from The Center for Health Design, announced at the HCD Expo & Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. HKS brought home three accolades for projects in Virginia, Ohio and Tennessee. The following three employees located in the Dallas, Texas, office also won awards.
Each year, The Center for Health Design sponsors several award programs that recognize outstanding projects, products and individuals that have contributed to the evidence-based design field, helped advance the healthcare design industry or demonstrated exemplary facility design.
Texas Contractor Projects- Erin Peavey, HKS Architect and Design Researcher, was named a 2019 HCD Rising Star.
- Rachael Farrell, HKS Senior Medical Planner, was named a 2019 Herman Miller Healthcare Scholar for Emerging Professionals in Healthcare.
- Hannah Schultz, a Clemson University graduate and HKS 2019 Health Fellow, is the recipient of a Healthcare Environment Award in the Student category for her research project, West Ashley Surgery Center.
