AUSTIN, TX — Benjamin Jenschke, PE, joins national planning, engineering, and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as a Project Manager. In this role, he will design and manage transit and municipal transportation projects.

Jenschke has 13 years of experience as a Civil Engineer. Previously, he worked for various consulting engineering firms designing and managing rail, roadway, and port projects. During his career, he has served several clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation, Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, Harris County Toll Road Authority, Port of Houston, City of Houston, Union Pacific Railroad, and BNSF Railway.

Some of the projects that he has worked on include Phase II of 183A Toll Highway, US 59 Traffic Control Plan, sidewalk improvements in Beaumont, and the annual roadway repair program for Brazoria County.

“Ben's experience in the consulting engineering industry and his leadership and technical skills will further strengthen the firm's transportation expertise,” said Travis Michel, PE, LAN's Associate and Team Leader.

Jenschke received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a Registered Engineer in Texas.
