HOUSTON, TX — Kirksey Architecture has acquired Houston-based architectural design firm, House+Partners Architecture & Planning, LLP, expanding their multifamily residential, senior living, and commercial office expertise and portfolios. The acquisition includes ongoing work with five residential development projects by Hines, which are under construction and total 1.5 million square feet.

“Having House+Partners join Kirksey reinforces our multifamily residential and corporate office practices, and greatly expands our senior living portfolio," said Kirksey President Wes Good. "Their proven work on notable high-rise residential and corporate headquarters projects throughout the region better positions our firm and broadens our reach in these sectors."

Established in 1978, House+Partners has served a variety of clients in both the public and private sectors. Their multifamily projects complement Kirksey's residential portfolio, which includes high-rise condominiums such as The Wilshire, The Revere at River Oaks, and Belfiore, as well as apartment communities such as The Lofts at CityCentre.

“Like House+Partners, Kirksey is known for their attention to detail and a long list of repeat clients. We are excited to bring additional resources and services to our clients, and continue to create places for people to call home,” said Jim Hill, Managing Partner at House+Partners. Hill joins Kirksey as an Associate Vice President.

House+Partners has also completed 13 senior living projects. Their understanding of licensing, regulations, and procedures allowed for a successful track record in designing independent living communities, as well as assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities.

Over the last 10 years, Kirksey has designed over 85 office buildings totaling more than 18 million square feet. With corporate projects ranging from single buildings to large corporate campuses, House+Partners' projects will further supplement Kirksey's office expertise.
