Owens Joins HDR's Industrial Water and Wastewater Practice
RICHMOND, VA — Mark Owens joins HDR as a Water and Wastewater Project Manager focusing on growing our practice in the industrial sectors. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Owens will develop and lead industrial water and wastewater projects, and define and drive strategies for market growth.
Owens has more than 30 years of water and wastewater consulting experience. Most recently he served as a Senior System Solutions Manager for Suez, where he designed industrial water and wastewater treatment systems for clients in the power, mining, oil, and gas markets. His industry experience includes serving as a Consultant supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the development of new industrial wastewater regulations, as an Industrial Plant Manager, and as a Technology Solution Supplier designing and optimizing custom equipment solutions.

Owens is a Professional Engineer, and holds a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
