HOUSTON, TX — Global design firm Stantec names Jeff Scarborough its new U.S. Federal Water Sector lead. In this role, he will lead the firm's federal civil works and infrastructure programs, coastal protection, and water/wastewater programs across all U.S. federal accounts globally with a specific focus on the U.S. Department of Defense.

Based out of Stantec's Houston office, Scarborough will also represent the firm's accounts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwest Division while working to expand Stantec's work with key clients, including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, and NASA.

With more than 25 years of experience, Scarborough brings expertise in project and program management, client development, and operational delivery to Stantec. He has a proven track record of success, including building and managing multiple federal accounts and programs, managing more than $200 million in contracts, and completing hundreds of projects for federal, state, and private clients.

“Throughout his career, Jeff has managed a variety of impressive and complex programs and projects for the U.S. federal government, and his experience speaks for itself,” said Chris Williams, Senior Vice President for Stantec's U.S. Federal Program. “Adding his leadership to our program will help us continue to strengthen client relationships and key government accounts. We're excited to welcome him to our team.”

Scarborough earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas State University with a focus on applied geography and planning, GIS, biology, and environmental sciences. He is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a Submarine Navigation Specialist on the USS Tautog.
