HOUSTON, TX — Garver announces the addition of Golam Mohiuddin, PE, CFM, ENV SP, as its Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Southwest Regional Leader based in the Houston, Texas, office. With over 14 years of experience in leading complex, multidisciplinary H&H projects, Mohiuddin brings expertise and a commitment to resilient infrastructure design.
Mohiuddin’s technical background spans hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, flood risk assessment, drainage studies, and stormwater pump station hydraulic design. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding Garver’s H&H efforts across Texas, with a focus on partnering federal, state, and local agencies to ensure infrastructure designs are resilient and manage flood risk effectively.
“I’m excited to join a dynamic team that is equipped to deliver the most complex H&H projects across the state,” Mohiuddin said. “It’s an honor to work alongside such talented professionals and to help shape solutions that make a real difference for communities across Texas.”
Mohiuddin’s engineering journey began in the Ganges Delta — the world’s largest river delta — where he honed his skills in large-scale river system modeling. Since then, he has supported a wide range of clients including the Texas Department of Transportation, the Harris County Flood Control District, Florida Department of Transportation, and Indiana Department of Transportation.
“We’re thrilled to have Golam join our team in Houston,” said Mark Hammons, PE, CFM, H&H Practice Leader. “His depth of experience in hydrology and hydraulics, combined with his passion for resilient infrastructure, makes him an incredible asset to Garver and to the communities we serve in the state.”
